contents page plan analysis

for the background of my contents page i have chosen a red and white background matching the front cover colours. The lighting on the background will be bright to ensure that the page itself stand out and is very appealing to the reader. for the title of the page i have place CONTENTS on the top left hand side of the page. The title will be in black and red bold Franklyn Gothic writing which will be more prominent over the white background.

Alongside the title there is a medium large arrow that points onto the contents page which illustrates exactly what a contents page looks like to the readers. The arrow is also black and red the same colour a the title. so that the colours blend together an look as though it is part of the title.

Underneath the title there is a bar which goes directly across it horizontally. The bar and the arrow are part of my design which i choose because it was something that makes the contents page look different, unique and appeal to the reader.

The illustrations on what exactly is going to be on each page are set in stair case format in other words each page illustrations goes a little more further than the last sentence. The written illustrations are going to be in small Francklyn Gothic writing. the iconography illustrations will be in order with the written illustrations and also in a stair case format. the top half of written illustrations the writing will be in black and red so it stands out over the white background. Were as the bottom written illustrations will be in black and white so they will be prominent on the red background. there are 5 boxes that have different images in them which are represented by the written illustrations.

Across the  first written and photographic illustrations there i have placed a small advertistement that involves a talent show competition  with prizes to be won this competitons i placed  it on  the contents  page so that people would be interested in reading on with the magzine on account of many people pick up a magazine and only read it just for the competitons.
across the bottom illustrations there is a speech bubble that asks a question DID YOU KNOW? then following  the answer to the question a little history of St Marks Sixth Form block.
